Conservation

We have recently been appointed to develop the detailed design for the conversion of a stunning flint barn on the south coast.  We helped to obtain planning permission, working with planning consultants dha planning.  We developed a design that retains as much of the interior space as possible, whilst providing insulated pods for bedrooms that are suspended over the living space.

The objective is to make the new dwelling as energy efficient as possible, whilst leaving the main barn space open plan, retaining a feeling of light and space, maximising the two main door openings.

Disused byres will be rebuilt to form new wings for bedrooms and farm office.
