Conservation

Kent peg tiles and central valley are being replaced/repaired on this Victorian dwelling.

The original Victorian roof was insulated with hay between the skeiling rafters and some areas had a double layer of lath and plaster.

Wool and wood fibre insulation has been added to form a warm roof, whilst retaining the historic detailing at eaves and verges.  Old tiles have been reused where possible.
