Listed Building Repairs
Various repairs were specified and overseen for a Grade II-listed townhouse in the centre of Canterbury.
A number of small items of work were required internally and externally for this fine end-of-terrace Regency house. To the exterior, we specified repointing to brickwork – engaging historic mortar analysis to determine the correct mix, along with leadwork, render repair and stonework.
The basement was a damp, humid environment for lack of air circulation. Conker therefore designed a simple but highly effective low velocity extract system to draw stale, damp air out of the habitable basement. This was achieved with minimal interference with the building’s historic fabric.
