New Classroom, Reception and Messroom

This was built in an area of protected woodland replacing dilapidated sheds.  Minimal foundations were used to prevent damage to tree roots. It was constructed with timber felled on site, while the craft and nature room was constructed from straw bale infill using straw from an adjoining farm.

The methods of construction used allowed non skilled labour of volunteers and rangers to contribute extensively to the work.
