AECB Approved Certifiers
Conker have been working with the AECB CarbonLite building standard for some years, and have a number of certified buildings on the Low Energy Buildings Database.
The AECB CarbonLite Building Standard is aimed at those wishing to create high-performance buildings using widely available technology.
The AECB estimate that this low-risk standard will reduce overall CO2 emissions by 70% compared to the UK average for buildings of each type – a highly significant result given the relative ease and low cost with which this standard can be met. The AECB has several Standards that each give building professionals and homeowners alike the flexibility in helping the country to reach net zero targets.
Paul is now registered to certify new buildings and is undertaking the CarbonLite Retrofit Foundation course to allow him to continue certifying retrofits (refurbishment of existing buildings).
