New Oak Frame Building
A new oak framed house design in collaboration with Norton Timber has recently been completed. Norton acted as the design and build contractor with Conker dealing with the planning permission and building regulations, this allowed the large detached house to be built to a tight and well controlled budget. High levels of insulation and triple glazed windows were used, and an airtightness of 2.47, not bad for an oak framed house and Norton’s first attempt at a ‘tight’ build.
